What we used to call “hardwoods 101″ is now being recognized as “sustainable” industry. We are a family owned and operated business that began in 1985 as a small basket boutique in Kainaliu on the Big Island. We have researched product lines and manufacturing practices that share our commitment to promote a sustainable, eco-conscious lifestyle. Sustainability is fundamentally about life ~ it is about creating ways for us to use our resources responsibly and thrive.

We believe our products are some of the most comfortable, luxurious, and eco-pure you will find on the market. We offer organic mattresses and bedding,  as well as sustainable hardwood and bamboo furniture.  Our OrganicPedic mattresses meet all federal, state, and even Canadian flammability requirements without the use of harmful chemicals. The raw materials are processed in the first mattress factory in the US to become a certified organic processor of fiber. OrganicPedic mattresses meet the stringent criteria of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI). GEI’s mission is to boost public health and quality of life through programs that improve indoor air quality.
